Otto Heller, was born in 1936 in Wiesbaden, Germany. In August 1956 he immigrated into Canada. In 1957 he went back to Germany and got married to Christa Dausacker. Shortly after they returned together to Canada and made Oshawa their home.
Otto found the German club, and quite quickly became an active member. Over the years he has held positions as Club secretary and president.
In 1975 he joined the newly formed 'Loreley Singers'. Over the years, Otto has not only been a singer, but the Club secretary, treasurer and chairperson. He's been the chairperson since 1996.
In 1988 Otto was voted as treasurer of the German-Canadian Singer's Association, and has held this position since.
