Canadian War Museum to Erase Records of German Suffering?

Our national war museum, at the behest of Canadian war veterans, is considering the modification of a panel that desribes factual information regarding the suffering of German civilians through the allied bombings (i.e the bombing of Dresden "'one of the most controversial Allied operations of World War II" source: BBC ). Civilian suffering in war shouldn't be erased but acknowledged and accepted as an unfortunate consequence, and that's all Canadian-Germans ask.
